LETTER: Eldred Brings Related Experience To Job

To the Editor:
During the 42 years I have lived full time in the Cooperstown area and worked with the village, I have never seen a better candidate for village trustee than Sally Eldred.
Sally’s parents were our neighbors for most of that time, and I counted her as a friend with many accomplishments.
She has been a full-time resident now for several years.  She has a keen interest in village matters.  She will bring much-needed expertise and experience to the village board in these demanding and difficult times.
Sally has been a small-business owner, headed up a chamber of commerce, and worked for 50 years in communications, (including advertising, public relations and newspaper reporting).
She has been active and a leader in community activities where she has resided, including a zoning board of appeals, concert series, community chorus, local historical association, committee for the restoration and adaptive use of an historic structure and Rotary International.
Please consider her record, ask questions, discuss the issues and give your support to Sally Eldred for Cooperstown village trustee.
