Dad Needs $500,000, Transplant




COOPERSTOWN

Cooperstown’s Patrick Baker, 37 and father of a 7-year-old, needs $500,000 for a liver transplant – and life.
The next fundraiser for his benefit is the Patrick Baker Benefit Bowling Tournament on Saturday, April 10, at the Clark Sports Center.  Slots are available at 1, 2 and 7 p.m.   Adults only, $20 to enter.  Call 547-2800.  For details of Patrick’s dilemma, see A-7.

BUILDING SOLD:  Springfield Center’s former Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church has been purchased by Ilonka Flammers of Brentwood, L.I.

SPEAK OUT: The CCS school board has invited the public to air its views at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, prior to the unveiling of the 2010-11 proposed budget at 7 that evening.
