To the Editor:
Joe Booan is bright, unassuming, non-political and a natural leader. In an era where local constituents need to be heard at face value and without all the argumentative layering, Joe Booan embodies the spirit of using a collaborative effort for the good will of the Cooperstown community.
He has no preconceived notions or agendas that are borne out of historical party affiliation or partnerships. He purely wants to lead Cooperstown in the direction of economic soundness, enhanced village pride and family wellness.
He also has the savvy to create change within a positive team effort. He is respected professionally and personally for his abilities to listen well, embrace new perspectives, prioritize and get the goal.
We share a common need for progress, and these attributes are necessary to become our next mayor. Like many others, I am voting for Joe Booan. He is home grown.
