LETTER: Don’t Confuse Journalism With ‘Personal Fantasy’

3-19-10

To the Editor:
In response to your editorial in the March 11 edition of your newspaper, we would like to go on record publicly as saying that you have deliberately slandered some very fine people who have worked selflessly to serve the needs and to protect all within the Village of Cooperstown.
Once again you went after members of our community not with facts but with your own personal fantasy.
Chief Diana Nichols, Treasurer Mary Ann Henderson and DPW Superintendant Brian Clancy are some of the finest examples of public servants you will ever find.  We thank God that Cooperstown has been blessed by their presence.
Mary and I no longer feel that way about you and your self-proclaimed “journalism.”
PAUL & MARY
MARGARET KUHN
